Born and raised in central California, Darren moved to the Reno/Sparks area in 2010 to work in the fire protection industry with his family’s business. His time in this industry allowed him to build lasting relationships with local businesses while exposing him to all the best this area has to offer. Darren is passionate about music and has been playing the drums for over twenty-five years. Darren attended Fresno State University on a music scholarship where he participated in the marching band, Bulldog Beat, and the symphonic band. He later toured the country multiple times as a professional drummer for rock and roll and heavy metal bands. While touring, he was blessed with the opportunity to play with a handful of famous artists and musicians. He currently serves as one of the drummers on the worship team at Summit Church in Sparks.
